Financial Charter
The Watoto Cozy Homes team works under the umbrella of thecoloursisterhood, which has an authority to fundraise in all states of Australia and is 'focusing their next season of effort' to assist Watoto in the building of a comprehensive village in Gulu, Northern Uganda. This village, consisting of homes, clinic, rehabilitation, school and caring church community, will become home for many rescued and escaped war affected children.

- thecoloursisterhood is a conduit for finances raised. All donations received are directed, in their entirety to the relevant project that they were received for.
- thecoloursisterhood does not take any administrative costs or salaries from donations received.
- Internal Controls
Strict internal controls are applied, including: - Two cheque signatories are required for all payments.
- Two people must count and verify all donations received.
- The Senior Pastors of Hillsong Church are not cheque signatories.
- All payment requests must be authorised by a senior member of our
accounts department. - Our financial records are audited annually by KPMG Chartered Accountants.
OUR ‘ORPHANS TO RESCUE’ FOCUS: thecoloursisterhood has the complete endorsement and support of Gary and Marilyn Skinner, the founders of Watoto Child Care Ministries, and is seen by them as an effective and trustworthy vehicle for raising awareness and support for Watoto Child Care Ministries.
