Changing the World One Child at a Time!

Watoto is committed to raising the next generation of Ugandan leaders in a family environment rather than in large institutional orphanages. Once enrolled in WATOTO, the children remain a part of their new family for life. Eight children and a widow -“house mother” - live in one of the homes that
volunteer teams from around the world construct.

THE FUNDRAISING GOAL
We are raising funds to provide a home for eight children and one widow.

The home package costs are:
$19,000.00 Construction of one house
$19,000.00 Infrastructure cost of one house
(land excavation, water, electricity, plumbing etc)
Total: $38,000

Welcome to the Watoto Cozy Homes team’s website! We are a collective group of ladies living in and around Sydney, Australia who have come together to raise funds, through various events big, small or medium. Since Watoto began, more than 1700 orphaned children have been rescued from a life of despair. We are happy to do what we can to support the Watoto Childcare Ministries in restoring hope in Uganda “one child at a time”.
