The mission of Watoto is about more than saving as many children as possible from the tragic circumstances surrounding them. It is about building a force for long lasting, meaningful change.

Watoto is about giving abandoned children the tools and skills to care for themselves, their families, their community, and their country.

The ultimate goal of Watoto is to help raise future leaders, to lift them up and fill them with love and hope so that they might do the same for their neighbour.

Welcome to the Watoto Cozy Homes team’s website! We are a collective group of ladies living in and around Sydney, Australia who have come together to raise funds, through various events big, small or medium. Since Watoto began, more than 1700 orphaned children have been rescued from a life of despair. We are happy to do what we can to support the Watoto Childcare Ministries in restoring hope in Uganda “one child at a time”.
